Who operates this site
HVAC Responder is owned and operated by Jacob De Dominicis. References to "we" and "our" in this policy mean the site operator.
What we collect
When you call our number, we collect the information needed to route your request: the number you call from, your ZIP code, and the service you describe (this site has no web form; you reach a contractor by calling). Our website also collects standard technical data (IP address, pages viewed, device type) through server logs and analytics.
Calls placed to the number on this site may be recorded or monitored by the routing partner for routing and quality purposes; the recording practice is the partner's and is stated on the call where required by law.
How we use it — the plain version
Your contact details exist for one purpose: connecting you with an independent, third-party HVAC contractor whose registered service area covers your ZIP code. When you call, we pass the number you called from, your ZIP and the service you described to the routing partner that carries the call and the contractor it routes to, so they can contact you about your request. That is the transaction this website exists to perform, and it is disclosed on every page.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information to data brokers or unrelated marketers.
- We do not add your number to marketing lists unrelated to your service request.
- We do not require consent to telemarketing as a condition of getting service.
Calls and texts (TCPA)
Calling is a request you initiate, not consent to marketing. The contractor your call routes to may call or text you back at that number about your service request. HVAC Responder places no automated or prerecorded marketing calls or texts. Reply STOP to any text to opt out; tell the contractor to stop; write to privacy@hvacresponder.com and we pass the request to the routing partner. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count page views and phone-link taps so we know which pages help people. We do not run remarketing pixels or advertising cookies of our own; Google Analytics sets its own cookies, which your browser settings or Google's opt-out add-on can block. Your browser's cookie controls work as expected here.
Data retention and your rights
Lead records are kept only as long as needed for routing, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, its correction or its deletion, or opt out of any sale or sharing, by writing to privacy@hvacresponder.com (see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information). Residents of states with privacy statutes (California, Colorado, Virginia, and others) may exercise their rights the same way — we do not discriminate for doing so. We confirm a privacy request within 10 business days and answer it within 45 days; we verify identity by matching the phone number or email the record is under.
Children
This service is for homeowners and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will update the effective date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
